CELEBRITY SOCIETY Magazine was the exclusive media sponsor at Operation Smile’s 9th Annual Smile Gala held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel and even hosted a private fundraising reception the evening before in honor of Operation Smile and founders Dr. Bill and Kathy Magee. Operation Smile, a worldwide children’s medical charity, honored Harrison Ford, John Stamos and Susan Casden. Access Hollywood host Billy Bush served as Master of Ceremonies and Jenna Ushkowitz and Kevin McHale of GLEE performed.  The Smile Gala was co-chaired by Dayna and Steven Bochco, Roma Downey and Mark Burnett, Vicky and Raphael Mense, Kelly and Ron Meyer, Ryan Murphy, Jennifer Nicholson-Salke, and Leslie and Robert Zemeckis.  Special guests attending the gala included Operation Smile Ambassadors John Salley, who served as guest auctioneer, Carmit Bachar, Deidre Hall, Donald Trump, Jr. and Vanessa Trump. A highlight of the evening included a performance by Philippine Smile Ambassador Chadleen Lacdo-o. More than $1.7 million was raised to benefit the organization.
