Prior to joining CELEBRITY SOCIETY MAGAZINE as their editor-in-chief, Mimi collectively gained an extensive background in the TV broadcasting/entertainment field. She began at "VIBE TV" (a Quincy Jones show on UPN 13) and was exposed to all areas of production. She then advanced her career in sports-casting and worked alongside anchor, Rick Garcia at FOX 11 News.
Shortly after graduating from USC, Mimi took the advice of some peers and signed on with several local and international talent agencies seeking opportunities in TV/Broadcasting. She immediately landed her first hosting gig on "Hollywood Bridge," a TV show for Brazilian MTV. She interviewed and reported on the latest celeb news in music, film, television and fashion. Her string of success in the TV broadcasting circuit continued as she served both as host and segment producer on shows like "Tour of LA" and "The IMM Show"—an international matchmaking show that was aired in both New York and London.
Known for her easy-going and personable nature, she instantly makes all her interviewees feel at ease—gifting her with the ability to obtain candid answers. These skills and achievements have translated into a wave of high-profile interviews with icons ranging from silver screen legend, Dame Elizabeth Taylor, one of the greatest singing talents in the world, Andrea Bocelli, to pop’s first goddess, Miss. Diana Ross.
Along with hosting, Mimi has also served as a correspondent and spokes model for various prestigious companies and has appeared in several informational videos. In late 2005, Mimi chose to make a crossover from TV to print media when she decided to join CELEBRITY SOCIETY MAGAZINE.
Aside from her professional accomplishments, Mimi’s most important contributions involve charities. She was born into a family which has always made philanthropy part of their lifestyle and have founded "The Ghermezian Foundation"—which helps and supports numerous charities and families all around the world.
Currently, Mimi sits on the Advisory Board of the Hollywood NOTE Foundation and is also involved with various other charities. She is a media partner for organizations such as Look To The Stars, the leading celebrity charity news website, and GREEN LOUNGE, an eco luxury experience.
In June of 2011, Mimi was asked to be 1 of 250 Celebrities to take part in the "BE THE LINK" Photo Campaign supporting and benefiting Until There's A Cure Foundation for Aids/HIV. She was honored to also be asked to be their Host at their LA launch Gala in February 2013.
