Although he prefers to remain anonymous with his philanthropic contributions, Jobs has been hugely recognized for his revolutionary contributions and pioneering work in technology. Named “Entrepreneur of the Decade,” in 1989 by Inc. Magazine and “The Most Powerful Person in Business,” in 2007 by Fortune Magazine, Jobs has also accumulated multiple achievement awards throughout the years. He was the recipient of the National Technology Medal by President Reagan in 1985 and the Jefferson Award for Public Service in 1987, along with being inducted into the California Hall of Fame by  Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and First Lady Maria Shriver on December 5, 2007.
